How to Download All Facebook Account Content

Facebook introduced an option to download all your information on your Facebook account. You can download all Facebook album/ photos together in a single click. Also, you can download all your Facebook statuses, Wall posts, friend list, Messages, Notes, etc.

The option enables to take a backup of your Facebook account. But there is no way to upload the downloaded data back if your account gets deleted or when you create a new profile. The downloaded file contains all the things managed very nicely in HTML (browser viewable) format. Your profile information, Photos and videos, Your friend list, Events, Your sent and received messages, Comments.

To download your Facebook account backup:

• To download all your Data, click on the Upside down arrow located at the top right corner of the window. From the menu, click on "Settings”.
• In "Your Facebook Information" Settings, you will see the option of "Download your information", click on it.


• On the next page, choose the date range, media quality, and output format.
  You can choose to receive your information in an HTML format that is easy to view, or a JSON format, which could allow another service to import it more easily. Click on "Create File". You will receive a notice that "A copy of your information is being created". 
• This may take some time depending on how much data you have. If you don’t have too much data, you can also just refresh the same page after 2—5 minutes and most probably your archive will be ready to download.
•  After creating the file, you will be notified when it's ready. Click on Download and you will be prompted to provide your Facebook password. Enter the password again and click on Submit.
• The archive will start downloading immediately.
