How To Avoid Someone Seeing Your WhatsApp Status without blocking or removing them from your contacts?

I'll try and keep this simple and short. It's a long way to go through assuming you have over 500 contacts

1. Open your WhatsApp status page.
2. Click on the 3 dot menu on the top right corner and select status privacy.
3. Now you have 3 options under who can see your status updates as follows

• My contacts
• My contacts except
• Only share with

Now choose the second one which is my contacts except and all your contacts will show up. Then you choose the contact that you want to hide your status from.

Voila.
